The memory of it is volatile, but it's there. I never paid much interest to it, I despised dark magic. My pride and stubbornness stopped me from acquiring much knowledge about it. Pride will not help me escape, so damned, I shall be. Not by the shadows of the tree, but my own nature.

I shall now try to watch Evil Dead 2 on Netflix. 

 Scaring myself with potential 20-year-long wounds sounds like a plan.
