I started playing the first day of the month. Just hit 25, and had been on special mission since. Idk why but the NPCs are always higher stats than me, how to conquer them?

Just because their stats are higher doesn't mean they are unbeatable. When you attack SP for the first time you can try putting on weaker clothing with different stats than you nomally have and a weaker pet. When you fail, later try your strongest clothing and sidekick and you'll see it's a bit easier against your opponent.

 

Also, if you're for example 120lvl, you can't expect to beat 220lvl opponent in specials so take that into consideration. Hope I helped you a bit.
