Is it possible to have 2 different people with the same username on the same server?

Hey there Dkettenring!

 

Having multiple accounts with the exact same name on the same server is not possible. If you try to create an account with the same name that another account on the server is using, you will be prompted with the message "Name Already Taken". If you try to ignore the message and just try using a different email than the original account has used, the account creation will still get interrupted later on with another message. You will not be able to complete the account creation by using the exact same name that another account is already using.

Thanks for clarifying that. I knew it wasn't possible but had to check.

Actually, it kind of is. Some cyrillic letters look exactly the same as latin ones. a - а, e - е, о - o. These are all considered different letters, but look exactly the same. I tried it myself and got 2 accounts with the "exact" same name, just replaced some letters with cyrillic ones. I believe this isn't intended, it is not game breaking but might be something that could be looked into for a fix.
