The arrival of villain is hard to tell  ,and can only be known when clicking the mission button . Is there any other way to know?

Well, Villain is supposed to be a surprising thing... but as i can add, sometimes, when it's already here, you can do a few missions before the game says anything about him.

I don't think there's any other way to know, you just have to keep an eye on the missions.
