Gear Damage

I used to play a game called (name deleted by moderator) back in the day and it was possible for lower levels to hit higher levels but cause gear damage to both parties.  So it was possible for a higher level to be ineffective in defense or attacking unless he or she was online pouring coins/donuts(in this case for Hero Zero) to ensure their toon's gear was at 100%.  If the toon was not online, then their gear would lose it's integrity by a certain percentage and would eventually be ineffective because the toon's gear would be at zero percent and could not be hit or be of any use to the team.

 

I think having gear damage involved in the equation of the already present stats (strength,stamina,intelligence, and intuition) would put a different spin on the game allowing lower levels to hit higher levels rather than pigeon-holing the various of levels of the toons.
