The cost of boosters increase every 10 levels.
My advice is to refresh them before hitting the next 10th level. Even if you still have 2 days left on or 3, you should refresh it before hitting the next 10th level, because their prices more than double.
This can save you lots of money in the long run!

i would seriously consider paying 10 donuts for the 50% boosters. they last 7 days.
50% less energy cost.... you are likely to find an extra donut a day with that, so it kinda pays for itself.
not to mention more exp, more coins per day

They seemed to go really fast when I bought the donut boosts.... Eh , maybe just I play this game too much xD.
