Ive got an idea of being able to put your pet into the washing machiene and wash the stats, sometime you find a lovely pet but you dislike the current stats, you want a little brain aswell not only stamina and strenght. I hope this doesnt count as animal abusal, cuz that would be sad 
maybe if you make a shower for the pets so they dont have to suffer in the washing machiene

Nice idea, surprising pets weren't released with that feature.
Would also be useful if they do allow the whole pets fighting / facing thing that was suggested not long ago.

A sideways to "Wash" pet is to swap the first ability. Stats adjust to your current level. I save junk pets for this
