It seems fewer people are using the forum than playing the game, which is unfortunate really.

I would like to amend this and get more players involved in shaping the game, sharing and communicating via the forum.

I urge those of you reading this to share the link to this forum with others.
Lets try and get others involved.

Yep. You might have noticed an influx of players from some other game recently. That other game had it's faults, but one of them certainly wasn't a quiet forum. We were just as busy there as we were on the game. There was lots of discussion (& arguing about the other game) & silliness & above all FUN, the dev's were almost as active on the forums as we were & it created a family feeling where we actually felt listened to & we were not just players but participants.

 

& to be totally honest, a lot of us have already been put off by the forum, by heavy handed modding, & liberal banning. 

 

If you want people to feel & enjoy something you gotta make them feel like we're all in this together, not 'us & them' like it appears now.

Don't  take a Hint do they, just had a forum warning from Nazi Zagarth about my sig width. Fuck Off! These forums are DEAD BECAUSE THEY'VE BEEN Modded to death, there's no life left in them.

If you over mod the forums, it takes the fun away from not only the forums, but the game as well. You are at a crossroads here of having a huge influx of spenders coming over to enjoy your game, but a huge part of the enjoyment for us is the forums. We like to have our unique signatures(which is a mini battle in itself), as well as fiery and fun discussions. We need to be able to taunt and challenge opponents. You need to have forum challenges and game art challenges to get the community together, talking, competeing, and participating. Right now this place is dead, and that will keep the people who have fun away. Make the right adjustments and many more like me will be headed this way. Check my spending habits and that of my teammates on Fear. This is typical of the influx you are currently receiving and will continue to receive with the right adjustments.

I would like to point out that I DO enjoy a good forum... This isn't one.

 

You've been doing an AWESOME job of stifling the players. Both by moving, deleting comments... and "BANNING" people for sigs.... That's just fucking stupid.

 

How about a "THANK YOU!" From the DEVS/MODS, rather than a "FUCK YOU!"....? 

 

Because that's what you're currently saying to us...

 

(Which is FINE... I have at least 20 people a day cuss me out... So I'm not offended.)

Unfortunately I fear it will fall on deaf ears - from what I can gather the Dev's & officials from Playata rarely if ever look at the forum, game ideas are filtered to them by mods.

 

Could try an e-mail direct to their marketing dept.

Started playing few days ago and the forum has been a let down.
Zagarth buddy, just put away your ban hammer and let these guys rock it. I can assure you that they will make it very entertaining.
If you don't like some posts,challenge them,engage with us,simply mod.
Shc folk is a great community many games would be envious off.just check the forum link before you delete it.you will see what I'm on about.

Well, I agree with all the posts above and would like to add that it's ridiculous how mods here don't even know how to write or spell coherent sentences in English. On a US forum. And it's not my mother tongue so that speaks for itself.

We used to have thousands online at the same time back in SHC. Heck, many of us spent more time in the forum than the game. It was half the entertainment value. 

 

Like Rakly, you can check my spending too. I know it's not anywhere near as much, but between the two, you should have a solid range of what many of us spend on our hobbies......

Totally agree with those people.

 

I got 12 hour banned by Zagarith cuz I quoted a post.. lol! and that's like the last time I went to the forum, cuz I felt like the community didn't even want our ideas.

If you check the date stamp most of the posts here are from last year. Things have changed a lot in the last three-four months and we are making an active effort to make these forums more friendly and welcoming.
