Not sure what the skills tournament is for tbh, or who... Older accounts? because they're barely buying skills in a week once the costs rise sharply... and who wants everybody knowing pretty much exactly how many skills you are gaining every week? even with xp theres alot of ambiguity on account of heroic calls and heroic rewards for completing the tasks.

Is it for the benefit of new accounts? Because again there's issues here; generally the benefit of having new accounts in your team is for HC's such as skill point buying con, and this directly promotes and gives a reason against saving for the hero con, which just lowers the reason for a high team to recruit a newer player (which are already low).

Think this one was a massive swing and a miss for me tbh, the pvp tournament was a great idea but this one? What exactly was the point of it?

As an addition, a tournament based on workouts (most "hard" workouts achieved? most amount of "reps/fitness points" used in a week?) would at least give new players an incentive to spend motivation, and add something that is far more on-theme... What wanna be super-hero isn't trying to get the most swole every week? But i'd still question the point..

Skillpoints tournament - I think it will be mainly about being lucky with workouts and getting ones where you get sp for each (or almost each) workout goal, because I do not expect people will spend tons of coins buying additional sp unless herocon or daily/weekly task asks to do it.

I can see the merit of having the skill points tournament. It may help some players to get some more season points. Not a bad idea.
I can see how some players would want to quickly access their favorite sidekicks which are not part of one of their assigned outfits. My favorite sidekicks are the ones which are listed according to level (in order) so that I am ready for the next Sidekicks Con.
Still looking forward to a button in the sidekick menu which will allow us to automatically sort them by level.

My skill point total is completely wrong, I had 47 points before adding another 78 but they have not gone onto the total, still showing 47, I have tried refreshing the game more than once with no luck, that is on my us4 account I'm not sure if the same happened on my us3 account but I'm sure it did because the total is really lower that I expected.

Fyi, free ones don't count.  Only bought or via training.  Also, apparently there is a bug right now where the bonus training points don't count right now, but are supposed to.

Hi,

In the German forum, with the update and start of the skill tournament, it was announced that the buying Skill Points HeroCon will no longer be available. 

In response to several requests from players, this was confirmed again by Playata ->skill HC is history
