I'm still new to the game. I have my current rows filled. I didn't know about the needed benefits of Generator Rooms. So I need to move some things once I complete a new row of spaces.

How do I move a room down to a different level? Is that possible?

Or must I put it in Storage, then "re-open" it later?

Can anyone help with this, please?
(I also want to do this without spending Donuts, if possible.)

Thank you in advance.

Yes, you can put these rooms in your storage and put them wherever you want later.
This is the only way. :(

And the higher level the room, the longer it takes to store / bring out of storage.  When you go to select a room for the empty space, the ones you have already started will say "place" at the bottom instead of build.

The rooms that benefit from a generator are the super glue manufacture, the zeronite mine, the lab of infinite knowledge and the base.  I arrange my hideout with a generator in between each pair of these rooms.

Good luck!

Hello, the generators help the base, glue, zeronite, and lab of knowledge. You can store your rooms and put them where ever you wish in the hideout. The brokeage center makes it to where you dont have to spend a lot of coins. The work bot improvement unit cuts down the time

Many thanks, everyone.

I appreciate this.  =)

Now to go store a room or two...
