This game confuses me often because there doesn't seem to be any information in the actual game.

In the Easter Bunny in Distress tasks there is one to "Apprehend the Egg Thief" 5 times. There is no information on what that means.

How and where do I do it?

Another question.

Several of the pieces of equipment I've found have "free modification slot". What do I do with it?

If you don't have the Workshop in your Hideout, build it. Using the Workshop you can make Modifications. Place these onto your equipment with the open slots and you will become stronger.

You can also make slots in the equipment without slots.  This comes in handy in the beginning when it is harder to get equipment with built in slots.

And to make slots you need "one time modification socket" which you can produce in workshop (but you need luck to get socket to production).
