The order of Sidekicks in collar-dialog is the order they have in your sidekicklist.
So put the Sidekick on top and you find it easily.
And maybe release some sidekicks, there are deeds for it since February

First of all you need to buy one from shop( if you have the donuts to keep refreshing), then double click on it & your list of sidekicks come up , then you just choose the one you want to put collar on, you will see modify light up & you just click modify

… but it should be at level 1 before you put the collar on.
I have never heard that. Would someone please expand on that and explain why collars should only go on level 1 SideKicks? It sounds like collars level up as the SideKick levels up. Is that the case?
Perhaps the process would be intuitively obvious (including why SideKicks should be level 1) if I'd ever had a collar to begin with. Collars and gems have never shown up in my shop or workshop despite refreshing every day. I hope to get one someday so I'd like to know how to use it when I do.
Thx in advance for the info.

I think it is random. My lower level workshop has given me several and my higher level workshop has given me none.

the level of the sidekick you use collar and gem doesn't matter. The skill are shown at a gem are the level 1 skills.
If you put it on a level 1 sidekick it gets this skills and will get more every level the sidekick gains.
When you put the gem on a sidekick at higher level, it gets more than the skills that are shown on it directly, so it gets adjusted to the level of the sidekick anyway.

Hello, yes they can be on any level sidekick, but when you put the gem and collar on the level 1 sidekick it makes the skills bigger when you level them.

Thank you both very much. Since my main question was whether collars and gems level up, I have my answer.
I also have a suggestion. (I apologize if this feature already exists. But as I've previously stated, I've never gotten a collar or gem, so I wouldn't know.)
As you know, you are currently able to compare sidekicks by hovering the mouse cursor over a sidekick you might want to level up. A box shows you two columns: The first shows a comparison of the current stats between that sidekick and the sidekick you are currently using. The second column shows you what the stats will be if you level up the lower level sidekick to the same level as the sidekick you are currently using.
I suggest that a similar feature should show you not only the skills for the gem at level 1, but also show a second column showing what the stats would be for that gem if you put it on the sidekick you are currently using.
Perhaps this would help make collars less confusing.
