I was awake at 2am EST, when the game went down for maintenance. Usually it is up either right before 3AM when it's a new day, or right after. Then I play until I go to bed 7-8am for 2nd shift work.  By 5:30am it still said "Connect to Steam failed. Please check internet connect and make sure Steam is running." over and over when I boot up the game.  This never happened to me since I've started playing Feb 16th, 2017. Other than missing a couple of days when I was in the hosptial in June of last year, I have a perfect login of 550 currently and would hate to break it over something that I have no control over and am attempting to login since 2am again.

Faithful, are you "RememberMe" on the US1 server I think you mentioned once? I think we are friends sending out battery requests to eqach other. If that's you, can you, or someone on US1 send Vial a message, my Team Leader, informing her Day 2, still locked out, whatever they did for Maintenance locked Steam users out I guess. I'm the Adviser who sets up the vs team/gang fights when I come home from 2nd shift work at 1-2-3-4am every night. Also, please tell her to check our Facebook group, I posted a message that I was locked out there, and that is the only way I can communicate now. I can't even log in to "unbind" my account "from Steam only" either.  Thank you.

6 days later, I still can't login. They broke something and aren't in a hurry to reply here, or to my support ticket.

can you try and change the password?

 

There is no way to change the password on the Steam client for an individual game, I would just have to change my main Steam password. The support people finally got back to me in emails, and I just emailed them back telling them how it broke and won't connect immediately after 3am when I am wide awake playing on here, and they went down for maintenance at 2AM Eastern. I work 2nd shift 2 blocks away, come home approximately 12:30-1am then play until 9am, and head to bed, and have stayed up all night for 16 years now.  Whatever training units or remaining 50 point energy packs out of the 4 I have left at 9am, I do it again at night when I come in.
