Admittedly, the most useless room in the hero hideout currently is the exchange room, the only use for it in my opinion is the achievements that come with it. What I think needs to be changed to make it useful is make it so the higher the level it is the less time it takes, not more time, it actually disadvantages a player from levelling up this room, which is counterintuitive to any other room. The amount you exchange should be constant (refresh to change between glue and zeronite) and just the amount of time is lowered at higher levels.

I agree with you but...

 

For now i have my Hideout over 96%, and most of the time the exchange room is usefull for achievements as you said, but it also can help when you are building two rooms and one of your ressources is close to be full, you can afford to launch some exchanges in order to get your builddings complete and  not getting any loss in your production.

 

It can also help if you need to balance your resources to launch a big build in your hideout (like the base for gold) to prevent any loss (again) waiting for the resources completition.

 

It's just a little tool to help you but not a big deal in the Hideout for sure

 

This room's will help you later in your hideout, when the build of your rooms exceed 1 week.

Im at roughly 90% expansion, so my wait times are pretty high up there, but I still find the point of the room counterintuitive and when you level it up it takes longer to do an exchange, thus making the achievements harder to attain.

Yes, and soon you will no longer need resources   

 

So....little life / little usefulness room but hey, we get trainings !
