The current herocon gives only 1 point for leveling up a pet. Regardless of which level one ups.

 

I think it would be more fair if the points would be depending on which level one ups.

 

So p.e.:

level 1 to 2= 1 point

level 2 to 3 = 2 points

level 3 to 4 = 3 points

etc

 

Or something like that.

I agree, it's already hard to get many sidekicks and not all team members are very active so it's gonna be hard for small teams to even get to leaderboards.

Yes and lower level players have much less sidekicks. So it's much harder for them to level up.
