I've only started playing this game since October 2017 and I've played at least three days in a week since then.  There are many Herocons out there and I haven't experienced a training Herocon yet. I think there should be a training Herocon where you gain 1 Herocon point for every training unit used.  (angel)

That's a good suggestion, going to pass it forward.

I couldn't agree more! I think we've all been hoarding training units...just waiting...and waiting.

Also, of this list of potential herocons, I've never seen one for the "hero distress calls." Not quite sure how the con points would be awarded, but it's on that list. *shrugs*

Thing about a training herocon is that the top teams hold most of the training trophies, so it would be biased towards them. Why make the strongest stronger.

I'm pretty sure there are many players who have tons of training units stored in their heroic deeds list just like what TrinityFaith said about hoarding training units just waiting and waiting. (sleeping)

We get many training units from missions, from hero distress calls, from team boosters, from villain attacks, from partly finished/finished equipment (hideout decoration) rewards, from partly finished/finished collection on sewing machine rewards, and from free daily 10 training units. Those top teams with training trophies have a great advantage for this type of Herocon but also have a disadvantage for those Mission Herocons and more.  :S  :)

That's a great idea FaithfulAizen  (grin) maybe 1 herocon point for every 1,000 experience gained?  (lol)

That's true that the top teams have more training trophies, but that's no different than the current herocons that energy trophies give an edge to.

Top teams usually have 4 training trophies. That's 200% more than normal teams per a single day! When you consider those also have more than double amount of active players the result is more than obvious. Gap between teams is just too big to consider this as a HeroCon.

Also, I can assure you not many players are hoarding training units since those actually make you stronger and is better to use them as soon as possible.

Personally, this would not be fair to all teams.  The strongest teams hold 5 training trophies and therefore they have this huge advantage compared to smaller teams who can't get training trophies.

What can we say about the teams that have energy trophies? and there is a herocon with energy. Or those who have trophies of courage? and there is a herocon with duels.
We need to cut herocons that advantages those teams? Or if is in your advantage it's ok?
Herocon with trainings it will be nice.

1 energy trophy = +20 energy units. Considering base energy of 300 that makes that trophy bonus worth less that 7%.

1 training trophy = +5 training units. With base training of just 10 units that makes that bonus worth 50%.

Also, training you can do in a relatively short time and you are done. Spending energy requires much more time while dueling requires you to be online 24/7 no matter what trophies are involved.

There is a reason top teams stash just training trophies, that's because those are ones that actually matter. Giving them some more skill points through a HeroCon like this is just making strong ones even more stronger, just like the current league reward system.

Top teams with trophies are going to always have an advantage. This point is moot.

Here is the thing about a herocon such as this.

Training takes time. If you don't come on and do the time to train your points (not talking donuts here, just training) you won't get the points. Some people don't have multitasking thus, they don't train like they should. So for every point those trophies give, unless someone has paid/saved to get multitasking, how much do you think they are actually going to train?

This type of herocon I think would require participation more than more than most.

Its easy to come in and quickly sell items. Easy to come in and fight a few rounds. Easy to come in and just buy skill points and run back out. But to train? You got to be here or return often. Again not talking people that stack and use donuts with skill points, talking the average, not paying player.

I still think a few herocons should go the way of the dinosaur (cough special missions cough) .. and new ones, like this be implemented.

I second that Dwerp. I also agree "special missions" Herocon is definitely not a favorite of mine.

Special missions are very important if you want to make as strong of a hero as possible. You really should run them all the time with or without the con. Theres tricks but just straight fighting you'll win after 3 to 5 attempts with level 30 pet and missiles. (The special boss has neither) be patient. Level 5 and 10 are the hardest so I run 3 areas at once. Beat level 1 on all 3. Then level 2 etc. Switching each time. Then I beat the level 5 on all three then keep going. You will win it takes time, donuts or batteries (or ads) whichever you prefer. Just try even if you lose in a hour free chance try again you don't lose anything by trying.

Special missions can show massive improvement on a hero. The coins and the experience add up and can be exactly what will give you the boost you need to get stronger than your opponent ;)
