If I send a link to a member in a one-on-one message it sends fine. If I were to send http://www.example.comthat is what the recipient would see. They would be able to click on it and go to the provided link. If I try to do the same thing but, send to the entire team the messaging system adds html tags to it and then the links don't work.

 

Is there some trick to sending links to the whole team? What am I missing?

The same thing happens for me.   The best way to send links to the whole team is to probably use the team page to chat or to make a conversation where every team member is on. You can make a conversation with a whole team or a group of people by pressing "Read and write messages" which is beside your experience bar.  After that, you press "conversations". Then, you press "New Conversation" on the bottom right corner. Then, you type in the usernames of your team members. Then paste the link.
