There is currently only one main way to get donuts which is the experience tournament. The tournament is not completely in the players control as they are competing against other players.

 

I suggest a new way to earn donuts called that would be a week long mission:

 

Tour of Duty:

level 1: 40 dual wins, 10 league wins, 15 training units used, 15 missions completed =5 donuts

level 2, 60 dual wins, 15 league wins, 25 training units used, 30 missions completed =10 donuts

level 3, 80 dual wins, 20 league wins, 35 training units used, 45 missions completed =15 donuts

 

Up to 40 donuts a week. Whatever numbers make sense. Have it be completely in the players control. Players should have a way to earn enough to activate all 4 boosters a week.

I think you will likely get pointed to the "earn donuts" section of the game. I am not sure there is a limit to the ones you can win, or the offers you can do, but there is a way to get donuts in other ways.

 

I don't see them giving that many donuts away as sales of donuts are their prime money making venue. If you gave 40 away a week, that's over 2000 a year. 

 

I like the thought, but how about just an increase in the number of donut drops or free offers...

The other offers are not guaranteed. You spend 20 minutes doing surveys and they claim that you are not a match after completion and than you get no reward. I tried that for awhile and got frustrated.  And that is time not spending playing the game. 

 

If you could earn 40 donuts a week through this method. Than devs can add other ways to spend large amounts of donuts.

 

30 more storage tabs. new rare pets in shop that cost 100 donuts. More hideout holes to dig and things to place. a rare box in the shop that has the complete set of a suit. A hammer similar to amnesia that drops honor to zero to allow for gaining honor again with chance to get donut for wins as duel against people with higher honor have better chance for donut. More set collections that are donut related. Add a ticket to an underground casino party into the shop which opens the casino just to that one person for a cost of donuts.

 

Than you decide if you want to save up for these things or buy boosters.

This gives duels a reason to be done and I believe that if you do all your duels regularly you will earn about 10-20 maybe even more donuts a week depending on the amount you do. This brings in a little bit of balance considering the honor tournament was removed. Completing your duels also grants you coins that will help you get ahead of your opponents. 

 

That being said, I can agree that there should be some other ways to earn donuts, the suggestion Mahhafooznit gave sounds a little extreme. I would suggest maybe a hideout room that creates a donut every 12 hours if at max level. Besides... It has been a long time since we had a new hideout room. This would be a great addition.

You are kidding me.... I started with 2 donuts this morning.  Have done 75 duels today and all my league points and all my energy.  I currently have 2 donuts at the end of the day.

You only have a higher chance to gain a donut if you are dueling someone with higher honor than you. I cannot beat any of the people with higher honor as they have 10000-20000 more stats then me. I earn zero donuts from duels week to week to week.

Yeah, hitting people with more honor than you gives you better chances. This also makes it so that you can still drop honor and get it back up to benefit yourself with donuts and more coins maybe. Doing duels gives you a lot of coins that stack up and result to you getting stronger than your opponent. There are also many heroic deeds that give you training units etc.

You can win donuts by attacking people with more skill points then you, even people with less honor. If you are having trouble finding people that have slightly more skill points then you, try removing some of your gear...do you really need shoes and a cape to fight?

it won't work. Simply, because people with good cash will hit level 20 fast. Majority of players won't get anywhere close. So the battle about balance will start all over again. And it will be a mean one. Very Mean.
