I've reached the point where I now have more spaces dug out in the Hero Hideout than I can actually use, since I've already built all the allowable rooms. And there are still more spaces that I can clear!

I'm assuming that the game developers are still considering the game balance of addtional functional rooms, but in the meantime I would suggest allowing the construction of 'decorative' rooms that fill an empty space but don't provide any function or bonuses.

Some possibilities:     A cave-like space with animated bats flying about

A storage room full of crates, barrels, etc.,

Table tennis - defense bots periodically play against each other

Dungeon - darkened space beyond iron bars with glowing eyes visible

Sounds like fun... But the game is not optimized enough. I don't know about you, but my gaming screen on the computer, after the last HO "lookie here", have been taking too many seconds longer, than it should be. With these additions the waiting time between switching the screens will take even longer.

My computer may be old, but it can still pull way more than this game does for no apparent reason ;)

chumak, have you tried going into the options and turning off the animations?

yep, I did that few months ago. Didn't need to, but still. But now it takes longer than before. :(

Maybe if I had a better rig I wouldn't notice ;)

Well, I've noticed that HeroZero seems to corrupt my flash occasionally, and that seems to slow screen turnover as well as making the initial loading screen get stuck on 99% when it's really bad. I've gotten into the habit of downloading a new Adobe Flash, cleaning out all my temp files, and then restarting my laptop when the game starts to go screwy.
