Let's just state the obvious. No one really cares about villains anymore (perhaps some new folks, but the majority do not). They are dead, except for when they are a task in an event. The developers do not seem to care. I am surprised that no one here has come forward with new ideas.. You seem to just complain about not being able to buy donuts cheap.

Well, for us that have been around here for a long time, we remember UDareUTake's suggestion "ATTACK OF THE NANOBOTS!". You can read more about it in this thread:

http://forum.us.hero...utake#entry1478

This is a much better concept than the boring hero hideout.

REMEMBER, this was written in 2013, so take that into consideration when complaining about rewards and other things.  (smug)

looks too complicated. Could just add hero emblems to present villains and be done with it.

People will still complain about time zones and other advantages/disadvantages.

well, this is not a game for kindergarten children. We do not want the villains anymore, we want a new type of event. The developers are payed for developing, this is not too complicated. Thanks for your input, and thanks to UDareUTake for his ideas.

I always thought it would be nice if they had more than one villain pop up at a time, in multiple zones... why?

Well it diverts the herobase. Some would attack one, others would attack the other, while even more might attack the third or fourth. This could spread the wealth of the villain attacks to other players depending on which villain they attacked. It would also take a longer amount of time to finish one particular villain due to smaller attack base.

Just another thought to improve the existing system

Actually, Dwerp, for time being it wouldn't work, since you need a lot of people involved

4 or more definitely would not work, but 3 villains might

IF

they stop making the villain stamina and strength increase depending on how many attacks it took on the past ( basically how many people used donuts ) so we end up people forced to use donuts JUST TO HAVE a chance of beating villain.

No one forces you to do anything ;)

The problem with more than 1 villain, as I see it, would be, that people wouldn't be able to eliminate either of them and be extra "happy" about it.

By the way, villains are no fun anymore, since we barely see them these days. At least, some of us ;)

talking "in order to win", if all of us agreed, we can have NO ONE attack the villains but also means no one wins guaranteed

What about something like the event linked to but it is advertised for a week before the actual event. It is an all day event where the group must achieve each phase. Everyone knows when the event will take place and are prepared and ready to devote time to it.

Another option is an 24 hour event also well advertised. There is an event page. Players click on the page to sign up and are assigned to a red team or blue team. There is some sort of theme i.e. Batman vs. Superman. Everyone participates and fights a list of of opponents on the opposite side which hopefully has an even number of higher and lower players  on each side. The list shortens as you defeat opponents. Then one colour or another wins at the conclusion of the event -more of an individual effort within a larger team. None of the fights count for the players overall stats. In the end the winning team gets some sort of appropriately cool prize plus maybe an award that shows up on their page.

“What would your good be doing if there were no evil, and what would the earth look like if shadows disappeared from it? After all, shadows are cast by objects and people. There is the shadow of my sword. But there are also shadows of trees and living creatures. Would you like to denude the earth of all the trees and all the living beings in order to satisfy your fantasy of rejoicing in the naked light?”

My main issue with villains is that only people who spend donuts will ever be in the top 10, which means that only one participant who doesn't spend donuts has a chance at getting the good rewards by being lucky enough to get the final blow. How about an additional way to get rewards? I suggest giving out a 'villain emblem' to everyone that participates in a villain attack. Treat them like the sewing patterns, and when you get a complete set you can trade them in for a reward, such as extra training points, a few free stat points, etc..

I would also like to see the way that villains occur changed. During normal gameplay we don't find out about a villain until it appears. During special events we get a list of forthcoming villains well in advance. I think that something in between would be better; perhaps a series of scripted warnings that would appear during normal missions that would give clues about upcoming villains within that zone? This would give players a bit of advanced notice, but would require them to actually read the text during missions and would encourage players to regularly check all the zones for clues..

donuts use should be in such a way that those willing to use them are able to do everything in 1 hour or less of play time per day as someone who is willing to invest actual time per day on the game

in paper, if there are no extra times thanks to boosters and trophies, the energy use should be done in 5 hours or less of "actual playing time", so we can say the freebies should be able to do in 7 hours of being in front of computer that a heavy donuts user can do in 1 hour, time needed increases when there are boosters, trophies and "double days"

Like I said before, Centella, why are you not a fan-mod? You never answered the question. Do we know why? What other games you mod?

So...you just want to hand over money and be declared the winner?
