Hello everybody. I made this topic to find out about what you think on skill allocation.

We all know that there is:
- Strength,
- Stamina,
- Brain,
- Intuition.

What build works for you well? Which stats do you prefer?

In my opinion, Strength is pretty useless to spend on any extensive number of skill points, because you get more than 70% of your damage from items, boosters, etc.

Stamina is much more worth it in my opinion, but Brain and Intuition can be match breakers. Having a few extra points in either already boosts your chances by deciding percantages.

Therefore, in my opinion, spending your points with something like 50%, 25%, 25% (Stamina, Brain, Intuition) would work well.

Please tell me what YOU think!

the npc characters you encounter always mirror your own build, just some ponts less in every category.
so its probably to fight them with a rather balanced build.

my theory on PVP was, that crit and evade can be real battle changers, but you have to outrank your opoonent quite a bit in one category for effect. though i just fought one where my evade was more than triple (200 points more) and not one evade triggered for me. so expect quirks.

for now i still think def/evade buuilds or crit /dam builds might be more effective pvp, we'll see. but it might well be worth it saving some gear to be able to adjust builds pvp/npc

I agree on saving certain items. Even if an item is -10 total stats, it is still worth it sometimes if it boosts certain parts over others.

It should be noted that Evasion maxes at 40%, while Critical at 60%. This makes sense as Evasion can negate even Critical, but Critical simply strengthens your attack. It is more or less luck based though, sometimes your opponent criticals and evades with 5%, MORE THAN ONCE, while you do not with 60% and 40%.

i dunno even if i am a little better than the opponent in crit/dodge(20%), if they have overwhelming damage i get nuked. damage is very big in this game since you can easily kill someone in like 4 hits if they have 1500hp.

heres my latest take:
builds are largely subject to the items you find. might keep different attire for different situations.

1. spend coins on your cheapest skills always
2. spend free points on your most expensive skill.
3. try to balance out your build overall, but always have about 10-20% more in crit and even a little more in evade
- for general purpuse. thereby you can deny ppl in your range to outrank you drastically in either crit or evade - ability.

higher stats in crit/evade also mean more randomness in your build. you become less predictable.
its the way to have a chance at killing a very high target, since you turn more battle over to the roll of the die.

Well in my opnion, i agree with you guys about skill allocation, but my tastes are like this:
Str: 10%
Sta: 25%
Bra: 35%
Int: 30%
Since i really like more an chance to score an crit.
Keep going, and nice post.

If you already hit hard every time, doesn't that offset the occasional crit hit? If I have  higher strength doesn't that offset the occasional dodge? I am a fan of stamina and dodge. Or am I?

“What would your good be doing if there were no evil, and what would the earth look like if shadows disappeared from it? After all, shadows are cast by objects and people. There is the shadow of my sword. But there are also shadows of trees and living creatures. Would you like to denude the earth of all the trees and all the living beings in order to satisfy your fantasy of rejoicing in the naked light?”
