I didn't seen anyone else complaining about this, so I guess it's just me. Maybe something wrong with my computer or account. But I'll still say it just in case. My 3 problems: the Easter missions are still on, I can't click anywhere using Chrome, so I'm playing on Firefox right now. And SideKick is not working well with Firefox.

I reloaded loads of times, restarted my computer and cleared cache/changed proxy settings.

Am I having just a lousy day on HZ or what?

1. The Easter missions should go away once you've used them all up (i.e. the ones you had left over from yesterday will still be there, but no new ones will appear to take their place). If they're still there you should feel lucky rather than complaining, the easter missions are very useful.

2. No idea... I'm using Chrome also and no problems here. When did it start? Did you make any changes to Chrome or the way you use Chrome (e.g. new extensions, changing settings) before the issue began? Try clearing cache and cookies again. Have you considered reinstalling Chrome? If you link a Google account to Chrome, it'll save all your extensions and bookmarks so reinstalling won't be too much of a hassle.

3. Sidekick is known to have a few issues with Firefox in that it sometimes does not change the proxy settings as it should. You'll have to do it manually. However I was talking with someone in Kongregate chat who may have had other issues with it and eventually decided to get rid of Sidekick, so maybe it's something else. You could use a different browser in the meantime and hope you find a solution to your Chrome problem.

I don't see how they're useful. None ever offered more money or experience than regular missions, and they also made it more difficult to use SideKick. Again, maybe it was just me. Well, anyway, they're finally gone now.

It started today, out of nowhere. No changes were made to Chrome. The game loads, but it seems everything is out of place; it's hard to explain, I'll post a print screen.

The pop up window showing the armor shows as I place the mouse pointer over the missiles.

I tried the US1 server and everything's fine, just UK1 isn't working out.

Thanks for your idea of trying other browsers, sometimes I forget these aren't the only ones :) I'll try Opera I guess.

Well, that's pretty weird... you could try posting about it in the UK forum to see if anyone else has this problem. (For one thing, I think the UK mods check the forum more often than ours check here.) If UK1 is the only place where you're having that problem, it seems like there must be something different about your settings for UK1, or it's not something on your end at all. You'd probably still get a faster response if you filed a support ticket, however.

About the easter missions - the benefit is that they refresh all the missions in all the zones. The only other time you get a refresh like that is when you level up, and since I'm a soft cap player, that doesn't happen very often, so I quickly run out of good missions to do. If you have the easter missions around to refresh all your missions, you get a fresh batch of hard missions with great coin and exp. As soon as you've used those up you can do another easter mission to get more, thereby optimising your income. To provide some statistics, on a good day without any holiday missions, I make about 3788 coin and 414 exp per energy (total for the day: 1,136,313 coin and 124,319 exp) . On my best day with the easter missions, I made 5031 coin and 541 exp per energy (total for the day: 1,509,421 coin and 162,592 exp). It's a very big difference. If you're serious about making the most coin and exp you possibly can, holiday missions are invaluable :)

Hello,

that is indeed strange. Please contact us through the UK support, so we can take a closer look into the situation.

Hello mogiks,

not really. The team in charge of UK is the same that's in charge of US. :)

Best regards,

Thanks Rafael and thanks Mogiks for explaining about the Easter missions, I didn't know that.

Editing to say that reinstalling Chrome solved the problem.
