Hey,

 

So I'm at that stage where to make expansions you need donuts. I have 135, but it says that I need buy them to donate but even when buying I can't donate them. Help?

You can't donate earned donuts. (sadly)

 

You must purchase them in order to donate, any one's you earn have to be used by yourself, this includes any team you may own.

If you are playing via habbo hotel like I do, then you will be able to donate earned donuts. I am able to do that. If you are playing from Kongregate then I would imagine that you wouldn't be able to donate earned donuts.

That's not how it works.

 

Let's say I buy 150 donuts. The system records that I have bough 150 donuts, so I will be able to donate 150 donuts to my team, whether they are purchased or earned in a mission.

This is, if spend all of them with my character (= I don't donate them to my team), I will still be able to donate 150 donuts to me team, even if I get them as rewards in game! However, after I have donated 150 donuts to my team, I need to buy more donuts, otherwise I can't keep donating them.

 

Is this clear now?

That's not how it works.

 

Let's say I buy 150 donuts. The system records that I have bough 150 donuts, so I will be able to donate 150 donuts to my team, whether they are purchased or earned in a mission.

Don't find this clear at all if I'm honest? From the way you phrased that it seems like I could spend 150 on my team and then the same 150 on myself?  .. This issue fixed itself but today I'm having the same issue that I can't donate any donuts to my team but I can use them upon myself.. My donuts are earned and only about 35 have been bought through habbo credits.

"The issue fixed itself"? The "issue" should not have fixed itself as it is the way the game works and always has done.

 

I will try explaining it too. Ok, so you bought 35 donuts. The system records that you have bought 35 donuts and gives you a quota of 35 donuts that you can donate to your team. Those donuts you can donate don't actually have to be the ones you bought - it only matters that at some point you bought 35 donuts. You could spend those 35 donuts on yourself and your quota for number of donuts able to be donated to your team would still be 35. But you can't spend the same donuts on both your team and yourself - once they're spent once, they're gone. So if you spent the 35 donuts you bought on yourself and wanted to donate 35 donuts to your team, you would be able to, but you would have to get 35 more donuts to do that. They could be from missions, duels or daily rewards but you would have to have 35 donuts you want to donate on hand - it just doesn't matter where they're from as long as your quota is at 35.

 

For every donut you donate, your quota goes down by that amount. If you donate 35 donuts to your team, then your quota is at 0 and you can't give any more donuts to your team unless you buy more donuts in order to increase your quota.

 

The game doesn't inherently distinguish between earned and bought donuts. It's just that there is this quota which is increased when you buy donuts.
