Try this, instead of a 10% definite in stats per trophy----do a 20% deficit in stats per trophy.  If you have 5 trophies you are kind of screwed.  So this way you never want that.

While this thread was never about you specifically, the fact that you see yourself in the thread gets to the core of what I am talking about -  people taking the easier path because the more enriching path is laden with hurdles that cannot be overcome.

Situations on my previous team were the impetus for the thread.  We experienced quite a few players leaving for "greener pastures"  as the lure of easy stat points is much more appealing than holding a couple training trophies for a few days possibly, only to inevitably lose them to one of two teams that can just come take them at will

This is what is happening.

But, in the end, the training trophy is just too powerful of a trophy and it needs to be removed or revamped in some form.  I say remove it until a revamped form can be introduced.

Whatever Ouch.  Everyone knows what instigated the thread.

Training trophies don't need to be removed.  There are lots of ways to revamp things.  It is up to the powers that be to choose to do something.  Outside of that, it is game play as usually.

Treat people well, do your best, and no one can ask for more than that when it is all said and done.

That's very telling.  Not trophies. Not thinking that removing the most precious fruit from the garden will make a better game.  All-in-all, just nothing but problems with people.  If that truly is the core of what you're talking about?

There is no game modification to fix that.

Loyalty, sincerity, honesty, determination, patience, understanding, and a desire to have fun cannot be programmed.

Perhaps other games would bring more pleasant satisfaction to some of the Heroes we care for. If any of us are in a leadership role, isn't it upon us to actually lead in every way possible? Including pointing to the door that says "EXIT."

So the team would have 100% penalty for having 5 trophies? Sorry, but that's a terrible idea and it would just create more blocking teams for those with trophies.. which leads to no teams to fight again. Back to square one.

We already have penalties.  Just saying that if you increase the penalty then people will want to have less.  Hence settling the problem of people having too many......... (smug)

Define "weaker."

Define "weaker."

All players and teams start out at the same level on a new server.  No one person or team is stronger than the other in the beginning.  And the trophies are handed out randomly.

And for anyone wanting to know what has instigated all of this, well 4 high level players left Glorious V on us3 and joined the legless llamas.  LL being the number 1 team on us3 who are also holding 4 training trophies.  Thus making it very difficult to remove said training trophies from them.

you do realize that people can have diff strengths some have donuts so they will be STRONGER and others will be weaker. Also there strengths are diff when they are with our without a team.

You don't need donuts to expand a team in the beginning ----you need coins.

As far as people having donuts-----only thing that will help that is to ban donuts.  Doubt that will happen.

the donuts are for when you dont want to be 10% or 25% but 50% with boosters

That is why you put some people on your team who can purchase 50% boosters for themselves.  It's all part of building a team.

I don't understand what you are trying to say faith.  At the start of a new server everyone begins on the same level.  Teams are on the same level.  Trophies are handed out randomly.  You can't get mad at a team that puts people with donuts who can buy boosters on it.  It's part of developing a strong team.  What is your point exactly?
