Hello DrBoXoY can I ask what is the reason you wish to delete your account?

I don't really see the need for such an option, you can just logout and forget about your forum account

The forum is kinda like a restaurant, you can come here if you want to, but if you don't like it don't come.

personally, if I ever quit HZ, I'd want to delete my account on the forum, to try and minimise the ties of websites to my emails. Think into this future, if this forum ever got hacked by a third party, then they would have access to all our emails. What they do with the, we don't know. Deleting an account, deletes that information from the server.
Alas, the others are correct when they say you cannot delete accounts at this point in time. Perhaps the suggestion can be forwarded on to the appropriate people for future implementation. @Mods?

I agree, as this site HAS been hacked in the past.
EDIT:
A perfect example of what not to discuss. Our fearless people at Game Support (link in the post below) will satisfy your curioisty and calm you down if there's any doubts or fears about your personal data. This goes for everyone - not intented for grub here despite him expressing himself like this.
One thing I will say immediately, though. The game servers were 100% untouched, since it wasn't a hacking per se, but a SQL (database) vulnerability that was taken advantage of. So long story short; Playata, running a patch on to a certain software - didn't work - therefore a back door had been left open.

Well i want to delete this forum account but i don't know how to.
I shall personally include your suggestion/request in my report for this week. If you wish to not ever again use your account, change all information to something outside of the boundaries of reality or at least truth. That way nobody will mistake that account for you should someone efter find it. The name can obviously not be altered - but » Send a PM to unnie »
Just so you guys don't think it's just talk, without any possible positive consequences, let me give you an example or two about how effective forum requests/suggestions can be and often are.
On behalf of the entire Support Team of Hero Zero United States, we thank you for a realistic and possibly implementable idea, and for making it known by suggesting it. You have my personal guarantee, my word, that all tricks in our playbook will be used to push this to where and whom it needs to go for best success.
For this we thank you. all of you that had any part in it obviously, so; Thank you, once again!

That is true. There is still an announcement regarding this breach (not hack, to knitpick a little since only encrypted stuff were taken, meaning no good stuff ever got out. Or have you seen evidence to tell us differently? - Just curious, not trying to say you're in the wrong here or something.
Back to the matter at hand. Click on the link (URL) below to read our then-current announcement of the latest database breach.
···» Internal link to forum post/topic ···» ···» ···» ···» Breach into forum systems of Playata.
According to our policy, we do not discuss nor do we allow our players or forum members to discuss or accidentally "advertise" (making the breach known to potential harmful parties). This basically means that we hide all posts and so forth, since the issue is dealt with - as our announcement tells you, should you actually read it which I warmly recommend. So, long story short; No public talk about our past mistakes/accidents (or the forum software providers, *ahem*) but only as follows.
If and when you have a question about this last breach of our forum databases and the extortion in general, you are free to open a ticket at the Game Support service we provide for you people on the U.S. market. The link below will choose the language/market/server as The United States as default
