When we finish a villain, the top hitter and the player who gets last hit each get a top prize "Ironic Suit" gear piece. 2nd through 10th get a decent prize in the form of an "Amphibian Suit" gear piece. Some randomly get a sidekick as well.
My issue revolves around many of us getting gear we don't want or need, even in the top spots. Before the onset of energy and training rewards, I always aimed for 11th or so position in hopes of getting a good gadget or weapon. But now, the training and extra energy puts me in a position where I want a top 10 spot, or better.
This often gives me "Amphibian Gear" that I don't need or want and just end up selling anyway. Sometimes I get gear for 1st or for last hit that I don't really need either. I'm sure this isn't just the case for me, but others as well.
I'd much rather get a gadget or weapon or even a sidekick, more often than not. I got 2 "Ironic" masks within a few days of each other, one for 1st, one for last hit. The point difference between the two was 5 points. Not much.
What I propose is that those who win top 10 prizes be given an option for the suit gear or for another piece of gear (preferably a weapon, gadget or uber missiles, maybe even league gear) that is relative in strength to the suit gear or even a sidekick, much like we do when we complete the scavenger hunt on event weeks.
This option will make many players much happier, I believe, as well as give us the ability to get stronger through gear we want and can use. I do hope you consider my request, as I don't think it would be difficult to implement.
