Just wondering if I'm doing something wrong. My honor will be around 4,200 and then I wake up, check my game and 6 or 7 people will have attacked me, so my honor goes way down.  Is this just the way it is or am I missing something?  Thanks for any tips.

Hello jshaye!

 

It is just the way it is.   You will build up your honor by dueling, and others will build their honor up by dueling you.

Just keep working on getting stronger.  Stats are where it's at!

When you logout, equip your missiles on. Will give u some nice extra damage without spending them That would keep some people from attacking you

There really is no benefit in maintaining a high level of honour. If you have a high amount of honour for your level you will be attacked because players are not punished by the game for hitting a lower level, only for hitting someone with lower honour. The game, however does reward you if you achieve a high amount of honour in one week so you will find players spending a week losing honour and the next week gaining as much as they can.

The only thing I found useful about gaining high honor at a lower level is that if you are hunting for a team--this sends teams your way.  Makes you stand out in the crowd.

 

But the duels are mighty handy for gaining you coins.   Coins is where it's at because you can boost your stats and get stronger and win more of those fights.

 

Some people enjoy moving up the overall ranks as well.  For example in levels or honor.  Which these have nothing to do with the weekly tournaments.  Lots of ways to play the game.  You just have to decide what you want to do with your character.

Honor is about respect--- due to a persons abilities, qualities, or achievements.  Since abilities, qualities, and achievements exist, then it is a good thing to show respect when it is warranted.

Do you mean that only some abilities, qualities or achievements are deserving of respect ? 

 

Isn't all that a little.. relative to whoever is giving it ? If it really is, then aren't we all honorable ? 

 

I'm sure I can find  a human being who agrees with , support, and respect the worst thing, you can think of. 

 

 

So, what is honor ?

Now that we're on the pastry topic,  my new (french) dessert recipes book... They have a donut called - literally translated from french -" Nun's farts ". It really must be evil.. so delicious. I like experiencing, so I added a little honey to it... SO GOOD   I'm just spreading the word, now.  )

Well, this is a game.  But as I always say "Your character follows you every where".  So people even in a game can show their character. 

 

There is honor that is owed in life  Tell it to a soldier who make it back from war with only one limb..  Tell it to a mother who saves the life of her child from an attacker.  Tell it to a teenager who helps an elderly person by holding the door for her.  Tell it to a leader in a game who offers what he has to his teammates expecting nothing in return.

 

Yes, you can find all sorts of acts and expressions that could be considered honorable. 

 

I can throw jokes around with the best of them.  But I will always honor good character, hard work, team work, and a person who deserves a high five.
