I would like a small button, which upon clicking enlarges allowing myself and others to input and read what others have written.

While I adore that we can chat in team I would rather like to be able to communicate with others, sharing our experiences and reinforcing the already strong community this game has.


S.N. Perhaps an other subchannel could created for persons looking to recruit so that it is not a constant stream of ' Join blah de blah '

Perhaps just give each user the ability to not see a particular individuals comments.
Adding a little 'mute' option would be suffice?

I offer a chat feature with a room for each of the servers as part of the Hero Zero Sidekick Chrome extension. Search for it in the Chrome store if you'd like to check it out. It's completely free

I can see where this would be helpful when a world villain attacks. Players can chat together, plan a strategy etc.

Well, it's not an official part of the game but, if you search for and add the Hero Zero Sidekick Chrome extension you'll have access to a multi-room chat. I made a room for each of the world-wide servers. The chat opens in a panel at the bottom of the game screen. It includes some other nice features too.

yea server chat would be good it would bring the server closer together and   make new friends also n meet new ppl.

shouldn't have to have a download a chat for hero zero  the hero zero team should be the 1 to improve the game they should be adding chat

I changed the chat to just 1 shared room for everyone in hopes it will see some more activity.

I support this option as well. Sarge is the best freelance game software developer for Facebook and Open Web server games it has ever been my pleasure to chat game and rp with too.

I've reduced the number of chat rooms to just 1 in hopes that people will see others chatting and more people will try it. I can create more rooms again if it seems like they're needed.

I think this post needs a bump. It would be nice to get a global chat (instead needed just for those who paid for the game, so than it can come at the place of the advertisements).  IDC.

 

Just drop some loyal players who are active a lot to moderators, really easy. You can also make it that you need to be level 50+ or whatever to talk in the public, that also helps to prevent that people make accounts to troll the public. Lot's of fun!

CbSarge used to play another game with us that, sadly, ended.................. But we have all found our way here to HZ, so not all was lost. In our old game, he was a valued member of the community that made extensions everyone used. These extensions were HUGE in making our experience as fun as it could be. He's a dedicated and giving gamer and I suggest you look into his extensions for any game he plays. He truly is a selfless player willing to help others wherever he can. 

 

Nevermind that the extensions suck sp out of your toon and adds them to his at a rate of 1 a day.................... KIDDING! I'm JUST kidding!
