When you use the hammer and you get to re-arrange your skill point allocations, what happens to the cost of SP purchases? Do they stay where they were at for each stat or are the costs per stat adjusted to the revised allocations? That is, do increases to a stat ends up adjusting the cost per SP up and decreases to a stat adjust the cost down?

Answering my own question, the cost per SP does not change....

As a tip then, before using the hammer, if you have coins still to purchase SPs, buy a pile for the stat with the lowest cost, You can always re-adjust after using the hammer.

According to the best information I can find, allowing redistribution of skill points is the only intended function of this item...

I have been spending my accumulated donuts today (Day of the Systems Administrators) to try and get some set items, and maybe some sidekicks. That's worked, as I've gotten 2 sidekicks costing coins, and decided not to buy 2 others needing donuts, plus another one of the special boxes.

 

However, I have been brought to a screeching halt by the item in the thread title showing up in my shop. I found this thread, and figured I'd post it here.

 

It is a special item costing 39 donuts. The description says:

"Enables you to redistribute your basic skill points on time"

 

I am thinking I should pass this up, as I don't really need to do that, but just wondering if there's a reason to get it for use later, and to see if that's even possible with the item.

basically when you use it

 

you get your stats to the bare basics ( as in 10 strength, 10 stamina, 10 brain and 10 stamina )  than a whole bunch of skill points ( talking depending on how much you used training and your earned and bought skill points about thousands of skill points )

 

it means you can choose to stay bare and lose huge honor for a while than 1 to 3 weeks later go for honor or you can redistribute the skills as in instead of a bad 4000 strength, 7000 stamina, 3500 brain and 3700 intuition, you can do those skill points smartly into a 3400 strength , 4200 stamina, 4900 brain and 5100 intuition

 

most people who are low level should get them as you might have hard time getting it again( unless the donuts cost is way too much or you short, and some people decide not to refresh shop until they get donuts to afford it ), and save it when you are high level

Thanks for the reply. I am reasonably high level, but I don't buy donuts and I don't do the "strip down to lose honor" move, so I will pass on this, and hope I get another sidekick or two that I can afford.

 

It also seems that since my base stats are distributed close enough to what you lay out. Mine aren't nearly that high, but I do have strength somewhat behind the other three, which are about even.

many people do the "honor move" to get donuts more easily in the weekly tournaments
