Hi folks -

 

I read somewhere else on the forums, where someone was talking about it being the same old teams all the time dominating play, week in & week out & it getting a bit repetitive....

 

The thing is, they're only ever dominant on their own server.

 

So how about a quarterly tournament, where the top 10 teams from each server, (US1, US2 etc) are migrated over to a temporary 'ultimate' server, & have to battle it out amongst one another to be the supreme HZ team & can keep the title/trophy until the next quarter.

 

That would certainly shake the tree a bit.

 

I'm sure it would be fairly easy to clone another environment just for a week using AWS or something. Don't know the complexities of migrating a whole team temporarily though.

 

If this were possible or at least even considered, I think it would be really cool.

Sounds like a great idea. Saw it working well on other games. Wouldn't mind brackets to divide us by av.lvl.

The one problem with it is that as servers fill, new ones open. Therefore the older server teams have a distinct advantage.

This is an interesting idea, that I've thought about too. It just needs a little work, is all..

That's a very interesting suggestion.  I'd love to see a world wide or International tourney as the players on uk1 & possible others have kick a$$ stats compare to the us2 server which has very high lvl players with very sad stats.
