I'm curious as to how high the chance is to find a pet in the shop. I've refreshed the shop each day since launch (plus some extra with nuts) and have only found one pet in a total of around 50 shop refreshes (and this was on the release day) and found none in missions, villains or duels.

From what I've seen and heard the chances aren't great... I have gotten only one sidekick from the shop (during the Halloween event) and all my others I have gotten from villains...

You need a little quatity of luck, but I prefer defeat the villian for them. Actually, I found nearly 20 pets in game (90% from villians).

I haven't found any in the shop or from villain attacks so far, but fingers crossed for you. The chances seem to be very low, but not impossible
