The players among my team and i hear many others on server are having a problem sending requests for batteries and to accept requests sent to them for batteries with this new update.

I don't know if it's the same thing, but the "requests" tab doesn't even show up on my mail, neither does the add friends option. Here's a screenshot.
By the way, I'm playing on Kong.

Please report this through support ticket, so we can check if there is a bug or not.
