This rule needs to be clarified that it includes you saying you are leaving not just telling others to quit. Right now it says don't tell others to quit or boycott but it includes if you say I'm retiring from the game

"Posts in which players announce to stop playing the game"
Isn't that clear enough?

in the official page of rules it says EXACTLY
"Posts in which players announce to others to stop playing the game, boycott the game or parts of the game."
unless HZ specified to you that the "to others" can be taken out of the interpretation, HZ itself has to clarify how they see that rule
the "to others" part makes a huge difference, from my understanding indicating trying to influence others to take an action, otherwise AngelicaSynn violated the rules going by your interpretation as she announced she would stop playing the game "for personal reasons" in a thread

What? You can't tell people you are quitting? Seems to me they don't want you to tell people to quit in posts. I think the word "announce" is what is getting misconstrued.

from my understanding of my reading of the rule. it means that you arent allowed to make a post that would influence others to stop playing the game in general or any part there of. so announcing that you solely are quitting is fine. however announcing you are quitting and others should follow suit is not. any post that would influence others to cause harm to the game.

You left out 2 words and the sentence isn't proper English without those 2 words. So no it isn't clear at all.
If you add "to others" (the words you ommitted) it becomes clear and means you can't encourage others to quit. You CAN post you are, say good bye like a decent human being BUT you CAN'T talk others into quitting too.

Since most of the posts here also breach the forum rules, I have to lock it.
I'm going to talk to the creator of this topic via private messages.
"Posts in which players announce to others (=forum members) to stop playing the game."
That's exactly what happended. The player announced to the forum members to stop playing the game. I asked one of our administrators to make sure that my action was correct.
Thank you.
