Am I the only one who has this issue, when the event starts, for the love of me, the first 12 to 24 hours I can not see any tasks/missions on the list for the event? I go through 300 energy and do not get anything until the next day.

I use the idea of doing fight missions, mostly, to refresh.

How wrong am I?

When an event starts, missions are not refreshed automatically. After you make a mission in one zone, the missions there will refresh and with some luck you get event-missions. Or they refresh when you have a level-up. 

Some events have extra-missions with some stuff around the starting-star, they refresh all missions in all zones. But not all, the last summer event had none.

Gotcha. I just don't get any refresh for the event the first day, no matter what. So about 12 to 24 hours are wasted.

Personally, this is not an issue, but... when I want to start, I can't --- I get regular tasks up til next day

Do fighting mission once in each area at the beginning. All then reset.

I do that. Fighting missions, other missions/tasks. The first day, any event starts, 300 energy and nothing till next day.

But if it just me... Well, then it is just me
