Hi,
I read that HeroCon is suspended due to the contest being exploitable. I am very curious as to how did players actually exploit it? Will these players face consequences?
Kind regards

There was a bug at counting HeroCon points: when you have a full warehouse and start producing new bots, remove warehouse: Then every not successful try to collect the bots did count for HeroCon. There had been teams with more than 100 000 points at some servers.
I hope, there will be consequences, if someone did this to get unfair advantage.
thanks for the explanation.

Ah, I see. I do not believe many teams took advantage of this glitch at US1, but I understand the need to suspend the competition. Thanks!

Probably should have suspended HeroCon till next week. I was losing hideout fights just to make robots and now playing catch-up

I agree that they should have just suspended the HeroCon for the rest of this week.

I am also going to throw my vote in for they should have just done no herocon this week since many of us spent a lot of time on Thursday building bots legally.. and they did it after many people spent all of their energy for the day so really messed up a lot of teams.
The fair thing to do would have been just give everyone 15 points except the teams that used the exploit without reporting it.. that would have given them a punishment for not playing fair and rewarded all of those who played fair but are being punished by this herocon change!

Plus, it's looking like US3 has crashed or something, since I lost connection and now can't get past the 99% loading screen. And I still had 3 energy refills to work through today. *sigh*

As posted in another topic the rules state
In addition, the communication possibilities provided by mobile and platform versions of Hero Zero may be limited compared with the browser version owing to technical or legal reasons. The user shall not be permitted to use programming errors (what is referred to as bugs) to his or her own advantage. If a user detects a bug, he or she shall have to report it by sending an e-mail to support@herozerogame.com.
So enforce your own rules and punish those who were cheating I understand not banning them but they deserve some kind of a punishment.......because this hurt everyone by changing the herocon midway through a second day also those who were not cheating deserve a form of apology in the form of some kind of a bonus or points or donuts or something.
