Maybe you can provide us with more than 2 hours notice that you are going to do maintenance at 23:00. We all play at different times. I had to lose energy today because yesterday you had maintenance and now tonight it happened again. This time hardly any warning, 2 hours that is all. Maintenance is usually Monday night/Tuesday morning.

Normally we inform everybody some hours before. This time it was very spontaneous so we couldn't inform you earlier.

I am pretty sure this was not an "emergency maintenance". It could have waited a day and give people proper notice especially since it was on an "off day". This was totally unacceptable for the developers to do.

My point is, you knew you could not do the update that day as you said "the database was too big". So you knew when you were going to do it. There is no reason that I can see where you could not have given players a longer notification so they could plan their play time better. Instead you wait to do it 2 hours before and took some people's energy away. If they were in the experience tourney, it may have cost them even top 10.
