What happens to the store bought items as you level? If you bought the Flash Gordon set for example when you were level 180 and then bought it again when you were level 280 would there be a big difference in the total number of points from the items? Furthermore, when you use the Hammer of Amnesia does it effect your gear at all?

Hammer of amnesia just redistribute your basic stat points. Not affect items.

I never bought clothes in shop, but i looked curious at the clothes from others. The skills were depending on the level of the player. Skills are same as a won Ironic Set item. 

For me only champions-league set would make sense, if you are not interested in fashion   Only there you get a new part to improve set from time to time

When you buy a suit it comes with stats appropriate for your level. 

The higher level you are the best stats it will have. 

It will always have a modification slot and the hammer of amnesia will NOT affect it at all. It only affect your basic skill

You outgrow it very fast, for a Level 180 players it's useful for about 2 days.

from what I hear, the "signature sets"  ( Flash gordon, baywatch, phantom ) are most likely to have the mods but you risking they being taken out ( most recently ghostbuster, in the past, zorro and MiB ) and they can't be modified in appearance and you can't whipstich into them at all

 

the league outfits will stay but less likely to have mods than signature ones, but they can be modified in looks, so you have more freedom on how you can look and keep benefits

 

the gift boxes one and the iron man one of the villain fights are the only other 7% increase gears, and are the most likely to be found without going to the shop ( gang fight bonus prize,  found in special missions, and once in a while in duels )

 

when bought as sets, it usually means that no  "7% bonus" items will  match them for the next 25 to 30 levels (after the 5 items are put together, many times if compared 1 on 1 ( without the other 4 items bonus added ) in paper the set item in paper looks like is -200 but when all 5 of the set are together, it has better stats )
