The addition of having modified gear is excellent. It brings new life to the game and has given purpose to the hideout. I think most people absolutely love the idea. However, there is a lot of frustration over the seemingly random inclusion of the open mod slots. I understand that the slots on most gear should be random, otherwise the excitement of getting the modified gear will fade away and become the norm.

I do feel that the matching set items purchased with donuts in the surprise boxes and the sets purchased with actual money should be guaranteed to have an open slot. In the past, buying the surprise/epic boxes has always been a gamble, because you may not get the piece you are hoping for. If you want a specific piece, you need to cough up the real money and purchase it. I think this is fair and should remain the same. However, that gamble goes from being fun to frustrating when we have to not only get the piece we are hoping for, but also get that piece of gear with an open slot. I have spent countless donuts,  and real money, trying to get the right items, only to be disappointed. again, i understand the fun and the fairness in the idea of it being a bit random. However, there comes a point when i will likely quit buying/spending donuts on items if there is no guarantee of it having a slot.

This problem could also be solved by allowing us to craft slots into matching set gear. Perhaps only allowing these new slots to be crafted once the entire set is owned, would be a good way to keep some sort of limit on this.

Thank for always keeping the game fresh and new, so those of us who cant seem to walk away can continue to be entertained. ;)

I definitely agree, if your spending money or donuts the mod slots should be guaranteed.

All bought sets from 'Secrets Offers' shop should have a mod-slot. This should work for old bought parts too. Also the new ironic set-parts from villian attacks should have a mod-slot now. All other clothes have only a chance for a modification slot.

If you have a bought item and no mod-slot, write a ticket please

I agree, mod slots should be guaranteed if you are spending money or donuts on them.

I understand the frustration.

But all of my purchased suits have mod slots.  Even the old ones.  So maybe you do need to send in a ticket to support.

I do not know if it is "now fixed"

but after the mods were introduced, my cousin got a phantom outfit and one of the 5 DID NOT have the slot and was forced to buy that 1 piece individually

and of my "purchased old ones", purchased champs outfit is 3 of 5

and of the "buy gift box at shop" ( cost 9 donuts ) or get in team fights, some come with, some come without

I personally have an issue/problem with the modifications ... They seem unfair to me & geared to make the game more of a "pay to play" game ... I personally am on disability & can not afford to spend that type of money for an outfit just so I can compete with the ones who do . I have the complete set of "anti-magnetic" gear {which I had to piece together one piece at a time - most from mystery boxes so it took some time to do so} when the modifications where added I started making them like crazy from jump street only to find out I can not use but 1 "shoes" ... I really think that is highly unfair as my suit took a whole lot more work & time to obtain . I think ALL full outfits should be able to be modified & some epic/rares pieces also to make it fair across the board for all players & not just those spending money . PLEASE consider this & lets make it fair & fun for EVERYONE !!  ;)

That's a great idea to be able to craft slots for our sets! I, currently only have one slot for my mask & would like to have slots for all of my other gear. Crafting them is an awesome idea Mommy!

it is good to know that the sets purchased in the spy shop should have mod slots. Many players still feel that ALL matched sets should have the mod slots. I have decided not to spend donuts on the boxes in the shop, because the last few times i have gotten one (antimag set) they didn't have slots. I have wasted 60 donuts on gear i cant use because of that. Hopefully, we will convince them to add mod slots... or a crafter. :)

Have fun! Its a game! :D

Here is a simple fix. Have the Epic modifications made in the workshop actually install slots into an item that you want to place the modification on. They are fewer and far in between but with excessive making of modifications you should be able to fix the suit you want whether it is a set piece or not.

Purchased sets always have a mod slot. If not, please write a support ticket.

it was recent the guaranteed slots, as I said, my cousin got one of the phantom pieces without a slot when it bought the set and spent 8 dollars? extra to get one with a slot

since last update you can build an one-time-modification-slot in workshop of hideout. It seems to be very rarely.

i found none, so here the picture from german server:
