Please tell me that this new E-mail system just introduced this week is an evil plot by DarkHelmet or one of the many random villians in this game   and if we the players of the game defeat this evil scheme, the E-mail will go back to the way it was.  (i know that this is not the case, and i will give the new system a chance, i'm just venting, i hope that i have not broken any rules with my venting through humor approach)

Everywhere everyone I see is saying they have issues with it.. I personally didnt have any issues with it lol, so I dont know what is going on and why people dont like it.. It's been fine with me.

So....... no problems for me either.  I am looking at the new mail format as an "Instant Messenger" sort of system.  You can carry on a thread with multiple people on an ongoing basis, unlike PM'ing one person.  It certainly needs some work, but the idea isn't bad.  I would like HZ to tell us the maximum limit of people we can include in a conversation.

 

The idea is good.  Now let's work out the details HZ

the things that definitely they should do to "fix things"

 

1>  we need an outbox for team mail

2> a delete is a delete, but right now some spam mails I know I deleted are not only back, but every time someone leaves "the conversation", that conversation goes to the top and if "I leave the conversation", it will get back anyway if someone else does that

3>  sometimes people want to do simple mail about different themes separate, but now if is just 2 people conversation, there is no allowance of title and they get merged into one conversation, so for example let's say that a few weeks back I started an exchange with JohnDoe about recipes of barbecue and it has the title "discussion about recipes" but at same time we were exchanging info about how to do duels effectively under a different title, now I get a new individual conversation "titled" JohnDoe and both the barbecue and duels conversation get merged, where now it does not make sense as I might have said "so how do you brush the sauce into the ribs?" and JOHNDOE next reply is "is best to be stronger than your opponent in intuition", they should allow us to have separate conversations under "the title"

4> We can't cut and paste anymore anything in the conversations nor can't we forward anything anymore, put that back

 

all the rest are "basic glitches" that also needs fixing

It is always the same with new updates. Nobody likes it first, but after 2 weeks everybody likes it.

I see the potential LH, but it has too many glitches and some inconvenient things that needs to be addressed

 

please tell HZ people to make delete a true delete, I hate that things I delete does not stay deleted, and is not necessary to pop a conversation up because "someone left it"

 

 

and there is a huge difference between

 

"people keep saying the new thing is great, they love it, is better than the previous thing"

 

 

and people being quiet and stopped complaining ( just means they are forced to accept it and decide to stop saying something as they know it will not be heard )

I was surprised by this new mail system. The positive thing is that I was able to recover mails that I had deleted accidentally, and even from friends who actually removed their accounts and no longer play here

 

The flaps are organized and there is no danger of erasing mails by accident as before, because if you did a bad click in "delete all" you lost everything.

 

About group conversations, I have not tried them yet..

 

I think that the mistakes will be solved, usually the updates are in test phase and they will refine it in the next updates ...

I am liking the new system.... how the heck do you block a player/report a player now.  I have this guy on US3 just keep messaging me with spam and offensiveness.  I can't find the block/report button.

Silverwing, You go into the mails with them and CLICK on their name on the top. It will open up a little tab showing the options to do both of the things you want to do.

but the issue remains that every time someone "leaves the conversation of the spam" ( if it is group conversation ) the message pops to the top  even thought you block the sender( I deleted one a few weeks back and popped back when someone "left conversation") or you yourself leave conversation ( supposedly substituting old "delete" )

Really? No they just get tired of complaining and not getting any help. And why is this in off topic? And why can't I just delete "all messages"? I got conversations from 2 years ago popping up. Also will there be a donut sale to compensate us for the stress?
