Does anyone know why some equipment allows mods but not others?

 

Can we get a rundown on what mods are made there?

 

Why is it my mod built on a lvl 10 workshop is weaker than my friend's who has a lvl 7 workshop?

 

Playata, please explain this workshop more clearly for us. The patch notes don't really explain much.

The bit that has me especially curious is this from the patch notes:

 

"The further the workshop, as well as the workshops of team members are upgraded, the stronger the modifications, that can be produced" [sic]

 

So does this mean that the quality of our modifications depends not only on us upgrading our own workshops, but on our team members also having their workshops upgraded?

 

 

As it happens, it will be 2 weeks before I can even play with the workshop, since I'm in the process of excavating a site that still has 13 days and some hours to go. Timing.

It does seem like bought suits are fully modable.

Im pretty sure it should be once a day at the same time that the second hand shop gets renewed but I guess we will figure that out in a bit

If you click the button to change beyond the free click, it takes a donut with NO WARNING. No pop up. Just does it. I have a league championship suit. 3 pieces can be modified. I also was doing the special missions and had a belt as a reward with a modification slot, lost came back same belt no slot, lost now it's a belt with a slot so I am thinking it's random.

I am with you guys as far as having lots of questions but........... to leapinglizard's issue - when you try to make a modification after the first free one there is a big notice that says New Modification 1 Donut.  Also - when you go to rotate to the next item in the queue, there is a donut in the upper right indicating you are going to be paying for the change.  Much like the Second Hand Shop.

Mon no on the phone no notice tells anything about a donut although the next item may have a donut on it I can't see if it does, if you are fighting robots and click refresh it pops up and says 9 minutes until the next free or 1 donut.

It is not hard to place a confirm on things. I have tried to build 12 robots opened it hit it but the slider was halfway instead of all the way up thus building 6 or 8 robots with no confirmation or any way to cancel.

If hero zero cared about its players it would fix those things and all the errors instead of new areas etc. Fix what you have already. I have to shut my program down no fewer than 20 times a day. It usually takes 2 or 5 times to even open the program.

Understood LL ...... I am on a PC and haven't "walked a mile in your shoes".  I understand from my people that playing this game on your phone is a whole different beast, in not a good way.  Yeah, they need to make it better.  My apologies.

HZ decided not to go "browser route" in the mobiles even thought it has been shown in the last year and the half that browser is the future and more convenient and effective type

Is upgrading the Workshop tied to how many modifications slots are open?

 

My workshop is currently level 12 and I have four modifications slots: Cape, Suit, Belt, and Shoes.

 

I have created a modification for my Mask, but my Mask Modification slot is not yet open.

 

Three of my modifications are attached to items that belong to a suit collection (Suit, Belt, and Shoes) while the cape item does not belong to a suit collection. My mask does belong to the same suit as the suit, belt, and shoes, but yet it is not open.

 

I'm just curious how to open the modification slot for the mask.

Mod slots are tied to specific pieces of gear.  Some have them, some don't.  The pieces with open slots will have the open little circle in the lower left.   If you have a piece without a slot, you won't be able to "open it up".  All purchased suits will have slots.

once you place a Mod slot can it be removed?   l want to replace with a better/higher lvl  one, but want to use the same suit. l shouldn't have jumped the gun so soon, l guess.

you can replace, but old mod is gone after that
