Why is there still a work booster? There doesn't seem to be a way to go to work any longer. Does the work booster still help with earning coins?

Yes. It improves your coinage from the underground base.

I see that the 'No Pain, No Gain' heroic deed (#439) is still listed even though it was all about hours worked. Is this an oversight, or is it going to be altered to make sense with the new version?

either "changed" or will stay For those who "earned it" in THEIR profile but won't appear for those who did not reach it as a "pending reward"

Under Work Booster it defines as " increases the coin yield of your hero hideout by"........10%, 25%, 50%.  I don't recall seeing any Heroic Deeds involving the collection of a certain amount of coins, though I might be mistaken.

There are several deeds that involve how many coins spent in a day up to 100 million coins.

You are correct King.  I was referring to the Heroic Deeds for the collection of coins, which would be hideout related, such as super glue and zeronite collected.  The Heroic Deeds for spending coins, of course, are still there.
