The event Nothing Day set for Jan. 16th is offensive to me. On that day in my country, we celebrate a great civil rights leader. Your team says this day is the day to celebrate nothing. Offensive. Is there a reason you picked this day?

So your selection of this particular day is only coincidental? It does not reflect an underlying political or cultural view? I must ask these things as I was really very disturbed when I logged on to see this.

If fewer people got offended over nothing it would be a much happier, more peaceful world.
P.S. Thanks Hero Zero for the donut sale!

Nothing Day is an "un-event" proposed in 1972 by columnist Harold Pullman Coffin and observed annually on January 16 since 1973, when it was added to Chase's Calendar of Events. It is not actually a public holiday, as that requires an act of Congress. Its purpose is:
to provide Americans with one National day when they can just sit without celebrating, observing or honoring anything.

I'm offended that my birthday isn't an international holiday. I mean, do you know who I am? No? Dammit!
I'm bringing sexy back!
