I just did the unbind thing, and now I am using the browser version.

 

However, I can't see the ads on the sides of the game. They are just purple rectangles, with a red X in the top corner.

 

I think you can get extra donuts or training time reduction, etc. from these things, so I would obviously like to use them.

 

What do I need to enable / disable / allow to see these ads ?

Do you have ad blocker on?

It sounds like the ads are somehow being blocked, adblock and any other extensions you have may make them disappear or display incorrectly

 

You could also try another browser and see if the issue persists

 

It's worth keeping in mind that buying donuts makes the adverts gone permanently, but I think that removes them entirely, not exactly the way you are describing

If I'm not mistaken, those tabs on the side take you to the megastore where you can do multiple tasks to earn yourself some free 'nuts.

 

Don't fret if you can't see it though! When it comes to getting to the megastore, you can also get there by clicking on the "buy donuts" button and when the page opens up, you'll see a little blue arrow  on the bottom left corner with "Earn Donuts?" next to it. Click that and it will take you to the same place. I'm sure there are other ways to find it ^3^ just gotta do some looking around haha.
