We fight to have fun and win!

Team Members must purchase their spot on this team.  This ensures that all team members are contributors and that they value their spot.

75000 coins or 35 donuts.

We are always looking for team members that understand the concept of staying in one spot and working towards a goal.  Team Loyalty all the way!

Requirement for Team Membership:

1   Must be active.  If you are not using all of your energy and all of your refills daily, then this is not the team for you.

2   Do all training each day.

3   Must value having fun over being cutthroat.

4   Must like to win!!

Team Members are made advisors by the Leader.  You can not buy the position.  It is earned.

I personally like it.  If you aren't desperate for team members right away, it works.  I enjoyed playing by myself when I started the team so I had time to be choosy.  If you consider how much a spot costs by the time you get to the 30th, you can see where I am coming from.  People who don't contribute a lot to a team--whether in donuts or coins---don't understand the concept of purchasing a spot for a team member.  When  you don't contribute, sometimes you can take for granted your spot on a team.  When people don't sign in or are inactive on a team that is fully expanded in Quarter, they are wasting someone's money.  Because someone had to pay for that spot.

I don't know how many times I showed a team member who didn't contribute much how much a spot cost---in which I got a reply of "oh my gosh, or I never knew".

Plus, sometimes playing by yourself or with only a few can be some quiet fun!

There's a conundrum with what you're trying to do. I understand it, trust me, but it puts you in a bit of a pickle.

1st off those most willing to donate to be on a good team often can just go to an already established team, already doing well.

Then those who would join an unexpanded team will often not be as serious as those looking to be on an already fully expanded team, and not be willing to make big donations, though your cost requirements really aren't that high compared to what it'll cost to fully expand a team. Trust me, I know. I paid for approximately 50% of the team expansions and they just get more and more expensive as you go up. A valuable team member paid for the rest and nigh all our 700+ melons.

So you're basically driving both parties away that might help build your team.

Building a team from scratch is an expensive and time consuming endeavor, and w/o already having a fully expanded team to attract solid talent with, building a strong team is a hard and painful process. Good luck.

A possible compromise might be to up the cost (and it does get REALLY expensive later, as you level the team up) and give the position of advisers to only those who have met a donation quota. Again, your cost to join is extremely cheap compared to overall expansion costs. Expect to pay a couple grand $ to fully expand a team.

I'm bringing sexy back!

Well I think the thing that is missing here is some understanding of my mindset at the beginning.

I probably had taken a break from my main team.  That would mean I started this team when I wasn't too active and was returning to the game.  When I start back to the game after a break, I enjoy playing by myself.  People were asking to join me, so I made it difficult.  Difficult, because I enjoyed playing by myself.  But if people wanted to join with me,  I just wanted more serious players.  I actually did some expansions on this team and turned it over to a player that had joined.

Loyalty and lots of activity are often qualities hard to find in players. Your original post does indeed sound uninviting, but your explanation makes sense, you can put whatever conditions you want for candidates who seek to apply. I also know what it costs to build a team, but I do not agree with implementing the concept of "purchasing a spot". Yes, realistically, it's costly, but there are lots of players who will make up for that in activity, chatting, faithfulness, helping the team and teammates in general, and they can't/don't wish to buy donuts. IMO, they still deserve that spot through their involvement even if someone else paid for it. You could potentially lose those kind of wonderful players who are just starting out, some of them even willing to donate but not as a must. Also, only a rare breed of heroes do all the energy & trains. For a newer team, I'd first start out with conditions such as loyalty, communication and moderate activity (like KoT said, ppl you are looking for are more likely to go in a more established team, with lots of good trophies, once they're able to) and then try to find nut spenders, go for full expansion and get good trophies as a reward for making a good team.

Well I never mind freaking people out.  I think I freak people out when I enjoy playing by myself too.  I enjoy playing on a team.  I enjoy playing by myself.  If I play by myself, I don't mind if no one ever joins my team.  If I am creating a team, I go a different route of course.  There are two ways to donate to a team.  Either donuts or coins.  Of course we can talk about all sorts of other ways, but these are the basics.  Everyone has the ability to donate coins.  Not everyone has the ability to donate donuts.  So everyone can contribute to the team with at least coins.  I have found that people who contribute something, feel more a part of the team.  Like they are invested.  Which is always a good thing.  They feel the team is theirs.  They own part of the team.  This is a good thing.  I've watched as some people took for granted their spot on the team.  Each time I noticed that person rarely donated anything to the team.  It is not about trying to get stuff from people.  It is more along the lines of helping the person feel invested in the team.  When they are invested, their spot holds value to them.  THAT is worth it.

I can understand what you're trying to do. Of course most people will be turned away, but like you said, you aren't looking for "most people" lol

Have fun! Its a game! :D
